The City of Mississauga’s premier centre for arts and culture is excited to welcome patrons to see an incredible line-up of live events and entertainment, from symphonies to rock shows, ballets, and much more.

Getting here

Living Arts Centre is located on Living Arts Drive, which intersects with Duke of York Boulevard, Princess Royal Drive, and Prince of Wales Drive.

It requires only a short walk from Square One Shopping Centre and the City Centre Transit Terminal and can be easily reached by local transit, ride-share and taxi services.

Located on the ground floor of the Living Arts Centre adjacent to the elevators, LIVE! Restaurant offers diners with fine taste and fine art.

Pre-theatre dining

Surrounded by full-length windows that let in natural light, the restaurant’s rotund dining area offers a relaxed ambience during the day. By night, the warm neutral colours and beautiful, dark wooden walls create an intimate setting for pre-theatre dining.

*Dessert menu offered after select Mississauga Symphony Orchestra shows.

The Resident Artist Program supports emerging and mid-career artists and artisans. It provides artists and artisans of diverse disciplines with opportunities to develop and maintain their art and design practice.

The Mississauga Symphony Orchestra is one of the City’s six pillar institutions of arts, culture and heritage.

A resident tenant of the Living Arts Centre since 1997, the MSO provides education and performance opportunities to classical musicians. It combines the strands of excellence and education through solo performance opportunities, commissions and mentoring.

The MSO is thrilled to present its eighth season under the direction of Maestro Denis Mastromonaco.

School performances expose students to the performing arts through professional

We offer school workshops for students from junior kindergarten to grade 12 in both the Performing and Visual Arts. Workshops are held at the Living Arts Centre and are taught by trained arts professionals. All workshops are connected to the Ontario Curriculum and use hands-on activities and experiential learning to engage students.

Box office and tickets

The on-site box office is located on the ground floor inside the Living Arts Centre’s atrium. The box office opens 2 hours prior to show time and up to 1 hour after show time.

Tickets are always available online.

Login in to your online Paciolan account (official ticketing platform).

Parking

The Living Arts Centre’s underground parking is open during regular facility hours and during events. Underground parking is free on weekdays after 6 p.m. and on weekends.

The parking lot entrance is on the West side of the facility, on Living Arts Drive between Prince of Wales Drive and Princess Royal Drive.

Clearly marked wheelchair access parking spaces are located next to the elevators on levels P1 and P2.

Paid on-street parking is also available on Living Arts Drive & Prince of Wales Drive in designated spots. To learn more about the rates and locations for on-street parking, please visit the City’s metered on-street parking information.

Food and beverage

Food and beverage services will be available during most performances.

Only beverages that were purchased on-site will be permitted entry into the theatre during events and performance. Food will not be permitted inside the theatres and must be consumed before entering the auditorium/theatre.

Outside food and drinks purchased off-site will be not permitted into the auditorium/theatre.

Please access the Living Arts Centre through one of the entrances listed below:

  • South Entrance on Princess Royal Drive
  • East Entrance on Duke of York Boulevard
  • West Entrance on Living Arts Drive

Accessibility

All facilities within the Living Arts Centre are equipped with accessible seating.

To inquire or purchase accessible seats within the performance halls, please contact the box office ahead of ordering with any questions or concerns by calling 905-306-6000 or emailing lac.boxoffice@mississauga.ca.

  • Orchestra boxes can accommodate wheelchairs and scooters up to 27 inches in width.
  • Rear Orchestra and Dress Circle can accommodate wheelchairs and scooters up to 31 inches in width.
  • Atrium ramp to Hammerson Hall is 40 inches in width and the Rear Orchestra door for guest entry is 31.5 inches in width.
  • Please be aware there may be obstructed seating in Orchestra Row T and in Dress Circle Row F if patrons in surrounding sections are standing at their seats.
  • This entire space can accommodate wheelchairs and scooters up to 30.5 inches in width.
  • Hearing enhancement devices and ear plugs are available free of charge.
  • Speak to an ushering staff for support.

Living Arts Centre has three performance halls, all with different seating capacities and arrangements.

  • Hammerson Hall has a seating capacity of 1,300
  • RBC Theatre has a seating capacity up to 310
  • Rogers Theatre has a seating capacity of 109

Venue guidelines

To ensure all visitors and patrons of Living Arts Centre can enjoy their experience, please review and keep in mind these the following theatre policies.

Booster seats

  • Booster seats are available at theatre entrances.
  • Quantities are limited.

Arriving late

  • Latecomers will be seated at the first suitable opportunity as deemed by theatre management. On-stage performances are shown on lobby monitors for the convenience of those waiting.

Use of electronics

  • Cameras, audio and video recorders are prohibited for most performances. Please ask before use.
  • Pagers, cellular phones and electronic devices must be turned off.

Babes in arms

  • Every person must have a ticket in order to be admitted to a performance. This policy applies to everyone, including children and infants.

Scent advisory

  • Please be considerate of those in the audience who may have allergies and refrain from wearing cologne and perfume.
  • There may be filming, photography and/or recordings at most events in the Living Arts Centre. By entering and by your presence during the event, you consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded. Please contact the box office or an usher if you do not wish to be photographed or recorded.
  • Please note that some events may implement different vaccine requirements, which will be specified on the event page as necessary.

Service charges

  • Fees of $5.15 per ticket and $3.10 per order apply.

Ordering tickets

  • VISA, Mastercard, AMEX and VISA and Mastercard Debit are accepted for online ticket purchases and at the Box Office.
  • Payments using Debit are also accepted at the Box Office.
  • Gift certificates can be redeemed at the box office. Effective September 7, 2023, gift certificates are no longer available to purchase.
  • Cash may not be accepted.

Printed and mobile tickets

  • Print-at-home and mobile tickets are delivered to your email electronically following your purchase.
  • They are offered for all performances and prevent you from waiting in line to pick up tickets and losing your tickets in the mail.
  • If you lose or misplace the ticket you print at home, you can show the electronic copy to a Box Office staff to have it reissued.
  • Mobile tickets must be displayed on a mobile device for entry.

Admissions

  • All individuals require a ticket to gain entry to ticketed events.
  • Theatre management reserves the right to refuse admission and refund the ticket price to any individual.

Exchanges

  • You can exchange tickets for another performance of the same show or within the Living Arts Centre Presents series by 6 p.m. on the day before the original performance ordered.
  • There is a $1.35 exchange fee per ticket. This fee applies to change of seat, change of price and change of performance.

Refunds

  • All ticket sales are final.
  • All events, programs, artists, prices, times and date are subject to change.

Lost, stolen or forgotten tickets

  • If your ticket has been lost, stolen or forgotten, you can be reissued another ticket through your online account at no additional charge.
  • You must provide proof of purchase and present a valid ID to have the Box Office reprint your tickets.
  • All reprinted tickets render the original ticket invalid because a new barcode on the ticket will take precedence.
  • If you have an invalid ticket, you will be asked to see the Box Office staff for a new ticket.

Reseller websites

  • Tickets sold through unauthorized reseller websites cannot be guaranteed by the Living Arts Centre. If you purchase a counterfeit ticket through an unauthorized reseller, you will be refused admission. Please use caution and use the official website to purchase tickets to Living Arts Centre events.
